Gotham FC midfielder Rose Lavelle was forced to exit Sunday’s road match against Angel City FC after she landed on the back of her head at BMO Stadium.

Lavelle was substituted off under concussion protocol in the 37th minute. She was able to walk down the tunnel under her own power and was replaced by defender Mandy Freeman.

Lavelle is being evaluated for a concussion. Further updates on her status will be provided as they become available here and in the post-match report.

Lavelle has scored four goals through 18 NWSL matches this season.
