Defending Concacaf W Champions Cup winners Gotham FC are looking to book a repeat trip to the tournament’s May 23 final.

To get there, the Bats will need to eliminate Mexican side Club América in the semifinals on May 20 at Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca, Mexico.

That won’t be an easy task as Club América currently sits in third place in the Liga MX Femenil Clausura.

The kick off for the semifinal is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Gotham FC enter the match with an unbeaten all-time Concacaf W Champions Cup record.

Should Gotham advance, they will face either the Washington Spirit or C.F. Pachuca in the final, which will also be held at Estadio Hidalgo.

Esther González Scored the Winner in Last Year’s Concacaf W Champions Cup Final

Gotham defeated Tigres UANL 1-0 in the competition’s inaugural final on May 24, 2025.

Esther González scored an 82-minute goal to win the match. The Spanish striker was awarded the Golden Ball at the tournament’s end.

The winners of the semifinals will meet in the 2026 Concacaf W Champions Cup Final on May 23 at 9:30 p.m. ET, while the losing semifinal clubs will square off in the third-place game at 6 p.m. ET.
