Red Bull New York II have rewarded 18-year-old academy defender Connor Faello with a two-year MLS NEXT Pro contract that will run through the 2028 season.
Faello signed his first professional contract on Tuesday, which will go into effect on August 1. The promising left-back joined the Red Bulls Academy in 2025 from SUSA Academy of Central Islip, NY.

This season, Faello has recorded three assists across 11 matches played for Red Bull II. His improvement has been recognized by Red Bull New York head coach Dominik Wohlert.
“We’re very happy that Connor will be staying with us,” Wohlert said on Tuesday. “In a relatively short time, he has made great progress, found his place with us, and earned this contract. Now it’s time to keep working hard, stay dedicated, and take the next steps in his development. My coaching staff and I are very excited to be part of this journey.”

“We are excited to have Connor with Red Bulls II,” Red Bull New York technical director Tiger Fitzpatrick added. “It’s been tremendous to see his growth and development since joining the club.”
Faello made his MLS NEXT Pro debut on April 12, when he started and played the full 90 minutes against New England Revolution II at Beirne Stadium.
Red Bull have recently signed 18-year-old winger Dennis Nelich and 17-year-old midfielder Deven Cadigan to MLS NEXT Pro contracts.
The Baby Bulls recently completed back-to-back 5-0 victories over Toronto FC II and Philadelphia Union II. Red Bull New York II will next face FC Cincinnati on July 5 at NKU Soccer Stadium in Highland Heights, Kentucky. Kick off is scheduled for 6 p.m. Eastern Time.
